I don’t normally get too impressed by gadgets and tech, but this is bad ass:

The Gist

Last year I was given the opportunity to produce a handful of Character Designs for the Wii & PS2 versions of Spider-Man 3. During that time I was “officially” on the Transformers DS team but my producer decided to loan me out for about 2-3 weeks to SM3. It was a very busy few weeks with lots of JPGs flying back and forth. Below is the culmination of that brief period. Looking back, I see many mistakes, but overall I think they turned out ok given the short turnaround.

Shriek

My first two characters to tackle were lesser known Marvels, Shriek & Morbius. Getting a direction for Shriek proved troublesome, as she was never the most well developed villain. In the end we opted for a symbiote-affected loon:

Stream of Consciousness Doodling

I’ve been having a fit of randomness as of late. I’m not quite sure why, but I’ve been finding so much comfort in the land of the silly and absurd than anything “worthwhile”. I suspect it has something to do with dullness of reason.

Everyone is so fond of reason and I’m not certain it’s done us a whole lot of good as a species. Rather than bore you with yet another diatribe alla bleego, I’ll leave you with a quote and some random art:

Dada doubts everything. Dada is an armadillo. Everything is Dada, too. Beware of Dada. Anti-dadaism is a disease: selfkleptomania, man’s normal condition, is Dada. But the real dadas are against Dada.
- Tristan Tzara

I just realized these are both pant-related.
